Background and Identification

Countertop or "Portable" Ice Makers are just the ice maker from your fridge repackaged to be used as a separate device. Useful for those without fancy fridges or nearby bodegas come BBQ time, the "portable" ice maker needs to be plugged in and usually manually filled with water to start creating ice. Once it has the necessary materials, it can start pumping out ice just like those fancy fridges.
