Introduction

Le moteur est la partie la plus importante du DC56. Si l'aspirateur cesse complètement de fonctionner, vous devrez peut-être remplacer le moteur.

Outils

Étape 1

Assurez-vous que l'aspirateur est débranché du chargeur.
Avertissement : évitez d'appuyer sur la gâchette rouge car l'aspirateur allumera l'appareil et commencera l'aspiration.

Localisez le bouton violet en haut de l'appareil.

Étape 3

Séparez l'appareil avec le bouton violet.

Étape 5

Localisez et retirez la vis cruciforme de 10 mm à l'aide d'un tournevis cruciforme n° 1.

You also have to remove the screw at the top on the back where the motor is. Otherwise, the battery will not come out!

Localisez et retirez la vis cruciforme # 000 25 mm au verso de l'aspirateur

the screw is turning but won't release

Same experience. Tried WD40 in hopes it would release but no luck. Had to use a very thin flat blade screwdriver to wedge the crease (on one the side of the handle by that screw) and simultaneously whack away at the base of the battery with a pair of channel-lock pliers, brute force. There is the risk of possibly breaking the plastic white handle as you try to wedge the thing open enough to pull the battery out. Very poor design in the replaceability department. I had already ordered a battery, so I would advise trying to remove existing battery FIRST (to make sure you can get it out without damage) before ordering a new battery,

If you could make screw rotate, keep spin it. Even though you feeling no screw is coming out. Just keep make rotate. It eventually comes out. It is pretty long screw compare to the one the other side. I almost give up but tuns out success finally.

Tirez la batterie vers le bas et loin du corps principal et retirez-la de l'appareil.

Retirez la vis de 10 mm à l'aide d'un tournevis cruciforme n ° 1.

Étape 9

Utilisez un spudger pour séparer la plaque arrière recouvrant le moteur.
Soyez prudent lorsque vous essayez de retirer le moteur avec un spudger en métal. Assurez-vous que votre batterie est retirée avant d'essayer de retirer complètement le moteur.

That’s impossible for me. As much force as two hands on the tool still won’t crack that seal…looking at that picture with a thumb and finger’s amount of pressure makes me think that you are Superman.
